Is this tax deductible?YOU BETCHA!. Team Dean Charities is a certified 501 (c)3 charity recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered with the Department of Public Charities of Massachusetts. Federal Tax ID #: 41-2050449. You will receive a tax letter by the end of the year stating your participation.
Is the online donation safe?
Yes, your credit card is safe online. We went with Google because of that mere fact. We wanted to be able to take credit cards online while providing participants a safe experience.
How do I sign up a foursome [or with a partner] using the online sign up?
Right now our online sign-up is a work in progress - meaning all we can do is accept credit ard payments online. . This is our first year and we are still working out some of the kinks. Here's what you need to do to sign up to play with your buddies. Go ahead and sign up online using Google Checkout. Then send a quick email to dean@teamdean.org with the names of your team. You will get an email back stating that your donation has been received and you have been paired up with your partners.
How much does this cost Team Dean? You'd make more money if I write a check, right?
Actually the online Google transactions are free for the first year. So it doesn't matter one way or another how you sign up. Most folks find the online easier. But whatever makes you happy...makes us happy.
