From Dean

2007 is shaping up to be our best year ever. Everyone around is excited about the tournament and a buzz is in the air. We are back with the same cast of characters and our mission is unchanged - -have fun, fill the golf course and raise a ton of money.. The goal for this year is $15,000. With your help this goal can become a reality.

Looking back, 2006 was a tremendous success and for the first time in our brief history the event sold out. I am delighted to announce that we were able to donate over $11,000 to the fight to end violence in our community bringing our total to nearly $35,000 in our short existence.

- - Statistics tell us 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime - -

In Greater Boston, we are fortunate to have a trio of organizations working together to end this crime and serve survivors: the Victim Rights Law Center, the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program, and the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. These three agencies work in concert to provide comprehensive, free, state-of-the-art medical care, legal assistance, and emotional support to survivors of sexual violence. Team Dean is honored to again name them as the recipients for the 2007 tournament.

I want to thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you out on the links.
