Founded in 1973, BARCC now serves 29 cities and towns in greater Boston. BARCC provides all survivor services free of charge including hotline crisis counseling, adolescent and family services, support groups, medical support, and legal advocacy.
The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program creates the coordinated, expert forensic care necessary to increase successful prosecution of sex offenders and to deliver the highest level of care to sexual assault victims age 12 and over accessing hospital emergency departments and urgent care centers.
Founded as the first law center in the nation dedicated solely to serving the legal needs of sexual assault victims, the Victim Rights Law Center Advocates for sexual assault victims' legal rights within the civil, academic and criminal justice systems. Providing not only the free legal services survivors need, but also working to make the legal system a more accessible and just system. |
